LITTLE DREAMERS - MULTI MEDIA
Little Dreamers Lullabies and Love Songs for All ages is a franchise multi-media project and a center piece of the priority projects for Dreaming In Color. The project has a variety of product components assuring it will be as evergreen and classic as any of the great children’s projects of all time. PBS has expressed strong interest to the point where the project has progressed to PBS’ legal department to broadcast an animated educational series and work closely with Dreaming In Color to build the brand. All intellectual property elements of the project are 100% owned and controlled by roll up company Very Juicy Entertainment.
Phase One of the product line consists of a children’s book focused on birth to 8 years old that offers both original lullaby music, lyrics and original illustrations Production is 70% complete assuring the project can get into market within Year One. Lara Lavi composed the music and Karen Gilmore hand drew the illustrations. The project will include celebrity guest singers such as Sheryl Crow, Alicia Keys, Melissa Etheridge and others Lara has professional friendships with from her touring days.
Phase Two of the project will be an 2D animated television series which we expect to air on PBS across the United States and license for world viewing with much the same appeal as Clifford The Big Red Dog, The Muppets, Arther and other PBS gems. Phase Three of the project will be a 2D animated feature film with much the same appeal as the film Happy Feet, Ice Age and Rise of the Guardians.
The characters (“Little Dreamers”) are multi ethnic and designed to be applied to a full licensable merchandise line. Dreaming In Color intends to develop learning tools working closely with several major university child development departments to create and monetize critical learning programs utilizing the Little Dreamer characters, music and original story lines.
Inspired by such timeless children’s classics as Good Night Moon and Where The Wild Things Are the goal is to assure The Little Dreamers project continues forever.
THE RED ROAD TO BANGALORE: A Musical Prayer For Peace
Featuring The SongCatchers
The SongCatchers are an original Native American Grammy winning fusion musical group combining traditional intertribal singing and drumming with rock, soul, jazz and spoken word. Peter Gabriel has called the group’s sound “spine-tingling.” Gabriel has taken the group on tour around the world as his opening act and on his WOMAD tours. In 2003 the group was invited to perform a peace concert for the Dalai Lama in Bangalore, India but not all the band members could travel. In 2013 and again in 2014 the Dalai Lama renewed his invitation and has formally endorsed the group’s efforts to produce a feature film “making of Rockumentary” of the group’s journey to resume their mission to perform for the Dalai Lama in Bangalore. The SongCatchers’ Red Road project will also include a live DVD of the group’s historic performance and other elements of the planned spectacle multi media Peace Concert.
The full name for the SongCatchers’ project is The Red Road To Bangalore, A musical Prayer for Peace and even though it is in early stage, already HBO has expressed strong interest in an exclusive first broadcast of this historic event. The project on many levels will include guest artists such as Sting, Ben Harper, members of the Neville Brothers Family, Lenny Kravitz, Common and many others to perform both on the recording and hopefully at the Peace Concert schedules willing. The live DVD will include a multi media backdrop, symphony orchestra, live painters and dancers and of course the SongCatchers with Discovery channel darling Native Alaskan Eskimo Ariel Tweto
Dreaming In Color will seed the project with a small amount of development money but already over 26 Casino Tribes are asking for proposals for sponsorship to cover the $20million budget for the entire Brave Road Project. Sundance Film Festival’s program director Trevor Groth has already expressed strong interest in in debuting the feature film “Rocumentary” and the live performance content capture.
There are currently five main members of the group: Lara Lavi, Mark Cardenas, Maurice Jones Jr., Charles Neville and Arlie Neskahi. The SongCatchers are produced and published exclusively by Roll Up Company Very Juicy Entertainment.
